This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department

of Defense.

1. SCOPE

1.1 Scope. This specification covers hydraulic accumulators having a single-shell design

with a piston type separator for use in aircraft hydraulic systems at rated pressures ranging to

3,000 pounds per square inch (psi) between the temperature range of -65 �F to 275 �F.

1.2 Size. Accumulators are of the sizes specified in table I (see 6.2).
