DETAIL SPECIFICATION
FUSES, AIRCRAFT AUTOMATIC QUANTITY-MEASURING, HYDRAULIC
Inactive for new design after 1 April 1996.
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the
Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers aircraft automatic quantity-measuring hydraulic
fuses for use in SAE AS8775 type I aircraft hydraulic systems.
1.2 Classification. Aircraft automatic quantity-measuring hydraulic fuses shall be
furnished for use in 3,000 pounds per square inch (psi) hydraulic systems at temperatures from
-65 °F to 160 °F (-54 °C to 71 °C).
Type I - Reset without reverse flow (AN6281)
Type II - Reset with reverse flow (AN6282)
