PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION SHEET
SWITCHES, PRESSURE, BULKHEAD MOUNTED, AIRCRAFT, ABSOLUTE, CLASS 1
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of
Defense.
The requirements for acquiring the product described herein shall consist of this specification
sheet and MIL-PRF-8932.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Dimensions, operating pressure ranges and tolerances. The dimensions, operating pressure
ranges, and tolerances shall be as specified in table I.
2. Pressure port designations. The designation "P" shall be permanently and legibly stamped on
the switch case directly adjacent to the switch's pressure port (see figures 1 and 2).
3. Superseding part numbers. The canceled part numbers and the corresponding superseding
part numbers are as shown in table II.
4. Intended use. The pressure switches covered by this specification sheet are used in F-18
military aircraft. These aircraft are exposed for prolonged periods to extreme seagoing
environments not encountered by commercial aircraft.
5. Changes from previous issue. Marginal notations are not used in this revision to identify
changes with respect to previous issue due to the extent of the changes.
